Punchbowl: Invitations & Cards App Reviews

Punchbowl is a great service for sending invitations, but the app leaves a great deal to be desired. You have to re-log in every time you launch the app; it never saves your credentials, or even your username, from use to use. The interface has some handy shortcuts, but appears to mostly just be a skinned version of the mobile website. As a result, if youre not on a blazing fast connection, it causes the entire app to hang if its downloading lots of information at a time. Theres a lot you cant do from the app, as far as I can tell, too, that you can do on the website. Its an improvement over their first attempt, and I use it to remind myself of RSVPs on the go, but overall, this could be a LOT better. Very disappointed in Punchbowl on this.

It was so easy to find an invite design I wanted! The filters were fun to use and were a huge time saver.

I downloaded the punchbowl app to help with planning my wedding rehearsal dinner. It was really straightforward to set up and send out the invite. The ability to easily filter guest responses was key. Heard back from guests after that they really loved the invitations also!

This app made sending invitations fun and easy! I loved the selection of designs to choose from and my guests loved receiving their invitations. I was able to keep track of the responses with ease and I did not have to worry about wondering who had or had not yet responded. Cant wait to start planning my next event!

The Punchbowl app is awesome! Love being able to check on my rsvps and potluck list right from my phone!

Just signed up for a 30 day trial. There are a few good features and designs but 2 major things are missing: address book Integration and it wont let you do digital cards from the iPhone or ipad- only invitations. Its also pretty slow. I will probably cancel for these 3 reasons.

Not a good app. No map integration for directions and no display of names or number of attendees.

Its not all that. I just hate that it keeps asking me if I want to add a gift card and when I press no it sends me to another page that says "Were sorry, but you cannot access gift cards through your phone." I never even pressed yes!!!!!

Love that this app can easily help me send online invitations for all types of parties. The best part is how simple it is to add a photo from my phone to an invitation design. I can even take a new photo on the fly! Love that the end result looks great too (just like paper but its all online). Recently planned my birthday party and this app was really helpful!

This has been the easiest and best way to e-vite. I have had no problems with this app at all. Yes, you have to pay to incorporate your email addresses but its so easy and user friendly- really no problem typing them in manually. This has been a breeze managing my party with this app. Highly recommend!!!!
